The ChinaCare Group, the only international healthcare consulting firm in mainland China, announced today the signing of a management contract with the Bayley & Jackson Medical Center in Beijing effective this month. Under the terms of the agreement, the ChinaCare Group will place a three-person management team in the center with full management and operational responsibility.

David Wood, President and Senior Partner of the ChinaCare Group, will provide overall guidance and supervise the management team. Mr. Wood is the former president and chief executive officer of United Family Hospitals, the first joint-venture hospitals in China. In addition, Mr. Wood has served in executive level positions in hospitals and research centers internationally and in the United States. He is the author of numerous articles in the field of international hospital management and is a frequent speaker at international healthcare conferences. Joyce Chang will lead the management team and serve as Clinic Director of the facility. “The ChinaCare Group is excited to have the opportunity to work with a talented staff at Bayley & Jackson and we look forward to transforming this facility into the most reputable medical center in Beijing with international standards and high quality care.” said Mr. Wood.

Bayley & Jackson Medical Center is a private, for-profit health facility located in the embassy community in Beijing’s upscale Central Business District. The facility provides clinical services in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Dentistry and Ophthalmology.
